General Nonsense (4)Taking my birthday off today I went to the doc to get my heart checked out. Turns out its probably all stress related and I can stop taking the pills that make me feel "not so great". Left the doctors office, drove 45 minutes across the countryside to my neighbor's work. Building A Service, General Nonsense (0)I was looking for a unobtrusive way to notify users of new Secure Delivery features that I have posted to the official SD blog. I've seen a few sites with an IE-style warning or notice bar across the top of their pages that would work, and after some searching I figured out how to do it with just a few lines of CSS and one line of HTML on your target page. General Nonsense, Marketing (5)I've always thought those pagepeel or "peel away" ads like the ones shown on John Chow were pretty slick, so I set off to find the best deal on them. I find them less obtrusive than fly-in, floater, or popup/under ads, and they have a definite cool factor about them that makes people want to peel the ad just to see whats underneath Well, the $127 and $37 price tags were a bit silly for an ad script so I started looking around. General Nonsense (9)Ignoring the text and the odd button I haven't updated yet, what do you guys think of the new design for DigitalProductDelivery.com? (click image for full size view) Of course there will be a nice big Secure Delivery sales type graphic in the big open white spot, probably promoting our free single product plan. Secure Delivery will still be the name of a service offered, and we are going to name the affiliate system too.
